Photography | Is it in you?
Helmi-Nov 25th,2008
When it comes to photography many people don't realize that
it is just another form of art where there is no absolute rule to
define whether a particular photo is "good" or "bad."
I purposely highlight the word good and bad because in
photography, just like any other form of art, this golden rule
applies - beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Having said that
of course there are certain basic rules in photography that can
help in making our pictures look pleasing to most people and
most importantly to our customers (for photographers who
provide photography services like me).
In my opinion if you have this perception in mind there will be
no boundary to your creativity in taking photos. Just ensure that
you don't overlooked whatever expectation that was given to
you by your customer.
With this the answer to the question - "photography, is it in you?"
is quite obvious isn't it? To me photography is all about the person
behind the camera, not about what others opinion on your photos
and certainly not what kind of camera that you use. So to those
who are still trying to figure out whether I have the ability to take
good photos maybe you should be thinking whether I like taking
photos in the first place. Then with some basic knowledge on
photography along with some understanding on the equipment
that you have on hand you should be on your way to capturing
some of those unforgettable memories of yours.
